Bad Timing

For someone who spent so much time on stage, I have some of the worst real-life timing of anyone I know. My initiation of conversations and my advances towards the opposite sex are all so badly timed that you'd think I was actually trying not to get anything out of it. It's remarkable. It happens all the time.

For instance, if you're flirting with a girl and it seems like things are going well, don't change the direction of the conversation. Especially if you want to keep flirting with her. Don't break character.

My timing is also horrendous should I ever decide I'd want to try and initiate any sort of physicality with a girl. Granted, I've only done so a handful of times, but that's enough to prove a point. Somebody, somewhere, thought it'd be very funny if I was only good at keeping time when I sang, and in the rest of life I should just suck at it.

I also have a knack for realizing how fabulous a relationship with someone could be right when it's time for either her or both of us to leave for college.

Consequently, I keep my big fat mouth shut. That way I don't embarrass myself. Having that mindset however, makes progressing much harder.

So I'm learning, slowly. I want to make someone happy. I want to share that mutual feeling of wanting one another.

Yeah.

I have come to three conclusions:

1. I have horrible timing as well. Although it pertains to other areas of my life at this moment.

2. Life just sucks like that sometimes, and I have to believe that someone somewhere is laughing at me.

3. I miss you. Come home and hoo-ha soon, please!

Also, I really enjoyed this entry. For some reason I always look forward to hearing your insights, and this was no exception.

You're too kind.

But you also have a boyfriend.

Who happens to be my brother.

hahaha yeah el, he's got a point there.

Timing is overrated. Says the girl who has none. But seriously, it's time to break free of imaginary time restraints and say what you want whatever you want, otherwise it probably will probably get said too late, or not at all.
