Martha's Vineyard...Again
Okay. They're a couple of things about Martha's Vineyard that are somewhat odd.
One is that no matter what town you're in on the island (They're four or five "major" towns, and by "major" I mean that it has a road going through it.) everyone, and I mean everyone, seems to know everyone else. To put it mildly, it's weird. I let it go the first few times I noticed that people driving and walking down the road kept on stopping to talk to everyone they met, but then I noticed that everyone could identify everyone else. My father pointed out that if I stayed on the island for even just one entire summer, I would probably know everyone too...
But undoubtably the best part right now is how I know absolutely no one, and therefore know no one else either.
Another thing that is somewhat odd is how terrible the weather predictions are. Since we've been here, it's been predicted that it would rain every day and night. It hasn't rained once.
So just some minor issues. Curious, though...
Oh, and gas is expensive. Really expensive. Sixtysix dollars to fill up a twentytwo gallon tank. Damn.
I miss you!!! Heinze, Beers, Pringle, Haz-mat...
